Well stocked shop....totally unbiased advice with no hardshell 👍highly recommended

Sonny suggested a blend of forged with the hot metal pro in the 5/6 and forged 7-gw with T20 wedges. Driver i stayed with existing ping but Sonny changed settings and made a huge improvement in accuracy of the Tee and handicap dropped from 19 to 14 without new clubs. Had a slight delay due to Mizuno being out of stock on components which happens.

Got a free gapping session with purchase which ill use in a couple of weeks.

The £100 for the fitting well worth it i must of hit 250 balls with different shafts. the custom fitting is worth it as im not overly tall 5ft 10 but shafts cut 1/2 inch longer and i can tell in posture im not reaching and gaining roughly 10 yards a club.

Cant speak highly enough of the set up they have so thanks guys hoping i can drop to single figures this year.

Update 17/6/21: Had a complimentary yardage analysis with Sonny. Once again very helpful started at gap wedge and worked down to the 5 iron ad into woods. Had a gap between 5 iron and 3 wood. Sonny set up a couple of hybrids and 5 woods but ended up with a 7 wood which on my course suits short par 4s. Once again top service from sonny. On the service i have had id never buy any clubs without using this in depth service offered the £100 fee comes off the purchase of a full bag set up so in reality your getting what feels best suits swing etc. Ive dropped 5 shots of my handicap in a month 18.5 -13.5 in a few rounds the JPX forged hit the green and the ball stops everything i wanted these clubs do it. Im now hoping to drop to single figures this year. read less

Had a couple of tech lessons with Lewis, really nice bloke and the quality and advice you get out of a lesson is 10 time more than I expected. Breaks everything down so its easy to understand and the videos sent to you really help when practicing after the lesson.

Sonny was a great help during my fitting session, offering straightforward, friendly advice without any pressure to buy. He found a new set of irons and wedges that suit my individual game and ability and was thorough and knowledgeable about the equipment.

Excellent facilities with experienced members of staff. Have used Sonny for custom fitting and Peter for lessons and would highly recommend them both.

As usual briiliant information from Rob. Really enjoyed the fitting Rob gave me great advice based on the information I gave him. It was relaxed he did not rush me and I would recommend it to anyone wanting new golf clubs, well worth the money. Thanks Rob

Driver and Wedge swing analysis and fitting:Truly a first class experience. The data analysis is incredible, but above all else, Rob is truly outstanding. He makes you feel incredibly comfortable, like you are just hitting a few balls down the range with a friend. Brilliant experience.

Had another great lesson with Jasmine. She has kept any changes to a minimum which has allowed me to work on those changes before moving forward. My swing path has changed for the better. 👍

Ha a great club fitting with Rob on Friday and can highly recommend anyone serious about golf getting custom fitted as it makes a huge difference. They are very knowledgeable and can tell you everything about your swing and can match a club to your swing. Thanks guys

Seeing what I was doing after each shot was definitely the answer, together with Rob's expert advice. Actually seeing the 'before and after' swings sets things in your mind. Lessons with Rob have really helped my game and he has the patience of saint, as it’s not always consistent. Teaching you in stages really works well, taking away a small number of learnings to practice in your own time.

The custom fitting I highly recommend, as there is so much difference in brands, shafts and fit. They will not pressure you into buying the newest most expensive models, if they are not beneficial to your game.

Well the lesson worked, played in the Friday Rollup, weather very wet playing off 4 below my handicap i won the front 9 with 18 points with 1 blob some nice fairway shots and 3 pars.

Had a driver fitting with Sonny on the 16-11-19. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Very knowledgeable and certainly knew what he was talking about. I wouldn’t go anywhere else when purchasing golf equipment. 10/10

I've had a golf lesson with Jasmine and it has definitely changed my game for the better. Very professional. It's also a great shop, well equipped with everything golfing and very helpful staff.

Since the lesson I have rarely used my driver and the 3 wood is close to my driver distance whilst hitting more fairways. My second lesson was a short game mastery session. I am now a lot more confident with my short game and Lewis showed me the benefits of using my sand wedge around the greens. I really enjoy the style of teaching that Lewis adopts, encouraging but not afraid to let me know what needs to improve. I had a putter fitting on Saturday 15th of September with Lewis. It was very interesting and Lewis was charming. I bought a Scotty Cameron putter after trying 5 others and Lewis was extremely helpful and gave me great advice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

During the yardage analysis session, Jasmine identified that I had a couple of issues with my club set up. There were gaps for both my short and long clubs. I was also looking to replace my troublesome 5 iron with a hybrid. After trying several options there was not a hybrid that would act as a replacement as they all went too far. Jasmine suggested that as I had hit my 5 iron so well in the yardage test, I might be better off getting to grips with it on the course. This was quite refreshing as it was clear that she was only trying to help my game and not to sell me clubs that I did not need. The testing did however, highlight other gaps and Jasmine made some recommendations based on the Trackman data and her extensive knowledge. She then offered me several clubs to try and to see how I got on with them and to determine which lofts and shafts would be best suited to my swing. At all time,s Jasmine was knowledgable, professional and very friendly. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable.I subsequently returned for a club fitting as I felt it was time to upgrade my very cheap 3 wood and driver. Again, Jasmine took time to make sure that I purchased what was best for me. This turned out not to be the expensive Callaway Rogue that had caught my eye but the considerably cheaper Callaway XR Speed. The fact that all the staff at Peter Field Golf sell you what is best for you and your game and not what is best for their turnover means that I will always continue to use Peter Field for all my golfing needs. read less

Rob explained the data (without blinding me with too much science) and quickly identified what I needed to do. He introduced the recommended changes incrementally, ensuring that I was comfortable with them across the clubs. Immediate enhancements were made and I came away confident that I could implement them. After a break in the very good cafe, Rob fitted me for a driver (as per my booking), providing plenty of information and options in consideration of the morning's revelations. The feel and results of the Callaway Rogue were particularly impressive in comparison to my old club, so I ordered one!As someone who craves simplicity when it comes to golfing thoughts but can nevertheless get myself into a tangle, exposing my 11 handicap swing to Trackman wizardry and a fitting process were big steps! Rob clearly has a great deal of expertise and must deal with a wide range of players. For me he found the right balance between technical information and really helpful coaching, providing the clarity I was seeking in a relaxed manner. Great experience and thoroughly recommended. Endless patience with my indecisiveness in the driver fitting (was there for almost 3 hours in the end) and their knowledge of the technology was obvious. If you are thinking getting a club fitted then id definitely recommend coming here over American Golf or somewhere similar - the staff here clearly have the edge expertise wise and the importance of being able to hit on an actual range with the trackman rather than in a darkened room cannot be overstated.Don't have any experience of the other two teaching staff but id recommend Rob as well - doesn't teach you to run before you can walk and always very clear in explaining himself and keeping things accessible. Having the Trackman on hand gives you actual figures on how the changes affect the way you are moving the ball - things like attack angle and spin as well as just distance and shape - and 30 minutes of short game surgery may well have been the difference in me breaking 80 for the first time recently. Likewise, I've found all the staff to be pretty unfailingly engaging and enthusiastic.One minor gripe was with not getting one of my lessons at the end after a late cancellation due to illness, a bit stingy I thought considering what id spent and that i was only told after id cancelled, though Rob did give me an extra 15 or so at the end. Overall very happy though and may well be back after a bit more practise! read less

After some easy to understand instruction, she has me striking the ball better than I ever have done. This was my first experience of a fitting and what a great experience! The process took just over an hour for me but at no point did I feel rushed or pushed into making a decision - I felt like I could have taken all morning. The facilities are excellent with immediate Trackman feed back allowing the numbers to speak for themselves. There are countless shaft options for you to try which really helps to fine tune the best club for you, which is coupled to some expert opinion on how to get the best mix of your swing and club/shaft options. Would I go back again? Definitely - and I'm already looking forward to a return trip to find my next set of irons. Many thanks gents. read less

The kids have attended the junior sessions and enjoyed it immensely, so much so one of them is now having private one to one lessons with Alex who is great with the kids, as is Rob and the rest of the staff. It really is a great place to get the little ones interested in the game

I have also recently had a fitting for a putter using trackman and not only did I come away with a really nice putter, I also learned there is a more technical side to putting and equipment thanks to Lewis' expert in-depth knowledge.

All in all what's not to like about Peter Field Golf... GIVE IT A TRY!!! read less

I’ve had lessons and they’ve been excellent more importantly my son 6years old attends the junior lessons every Saturday and loves every minute to the point he asks to go everyday.

Excellent lesson with Rob. A few tweaks and I was getting smoother, consistent hits with greater distance. Very helpful. Easy to understand.

A very thorough initial assessment of my putting technique from Rob which led to four or five tweaks to my stance, posture, grip and alignment.
