The new line of the 2024 Scotty Cameron Phantom putters is made up of ten mallet heads, all of which fully re-designed with deliberate alignment cues for precision down-the-line sighting. In true Scotty Cameron fashion, each model is expertly crafted in the USA for optimal balance characteristics and stunning aesthetics.
Designed as a solution for players who prefer long, rail-like alignment features in the flange but favor a hint of toe flow for an arcing putting stroke, Scotty’s new Phantom 7.5 provides both. Sharing the same outline as the Phantom 7 for confident alignment, the Phantom 7.5 includes a jet neck to promote a flowing stroke in a stable, high-MOI mallet. An elegant new sight dot milling indicates the topline’s visual centre, while elongated sight lines in the flange instill confidence at address.
Perimeter weighting and the foundation for a solid dual-milled face are achieved using precision-milled 303 stainless steel, as lightweight 6061 aircraft grade aluminium forms the sole/flange component. Engineered for the ideal centre of gravity (CG) depth and desired moment of inertia (MOI) with assistance from the on-board, customised stainless steel sole weights, the Phantom 7.5 leverages the line’s newly created full contact grip and a stepless steel shaft for the latest, Tour-inspired model also available for left-handed players.
Each of these models employ the proven construction methodology of the previous lines, using 303 stainless steel for the body and face of each putter, integrated 6061 aircraft aluminium sole plates for a more rigid, stable feel. Paired with repositioned vibration dampening technology, each model as been refined to deliver specific functionality.
Developed on Tour, Scotty’s new dual-milled face technology takes sound, feel and feedback to a whole new level. Combining the softness of a deep-milled face with the consistency and true roll of a more recent mid-milled offering. The peaks of face milling produce a flatter, more consistent surface for the ball to contact the face on every putt. The new Phantom line has a focus on shapes built around alignment systems that help players easily align the putter for greater confidence at address and during every stroke.
Each Phantom putter is accessorised with a custom-designed grip for the line which is tapered at both ends and uniquely shaped for optimal in-hand feel. Finished with the chain link textured pattern.
