An activated elastomer insert creates discretionary weight to lower the CG. This gives more distance while enhancing feel and sound in conjunction with a multi-material badge. A more rounded lead edge ensures smooth turf interaction for clean strikes. Available in 3-9, PW, UW.
The i230 is a great option for golfers who are more confident ball strikers and are looking for a club to still inspire confidence. While it is certainly a players-style iron, the slightly larger topline gives the look of a club that will bail you out on some of your mishits. While the subtlety of the technology in the head makes it feel controlled, particularly as you get into the scoring irons. However, it still provides the power you would want if a blade-style club feels a little weak and spinny.
