Mizuno JPX 923 Forged Golf Irons
Midsize Forged Cavity With Fastest Speeds
The Mizuno JPX 923 irons are engineered for custom performance, with five unique iron models created from three specific metals – based on swing DNA data from over 350,000 real golfers. This creates options for elite tour players, slow swinging amateurs, and every player in between.
The JPX 923 Forged irons are a mid-sized, full body Grain Flow Forged iron delivering a perfect balance of ball speed, stability, and feel. Mizuno’s 3rd generation of Chromoly forging (4-7 iron) incorporates a milling slot that extends wider to heel and toe. Paired with an even thinner clubface it creates Mizuno’s highest one-piece forged ball speeds from an even greater portion of the clubface. The irons showcase a thinner top line throughout, plus compact scoring irons (8-GW) and bevelled sole for improved turf interaction.
Forged from a single billet of 4120 Chromoly and back milled from heel to toe, creating extreme ball speeds from a compact workable profile. Face thickness is now reduced to just 2.2mm behind impact (vs 2.6mm JPX921 Forged). There’s additional bevelling to the trailing edge for immaculate turf interaction.
The 8-GW feature 1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel for ultimate precision, control, and feel in the scoring zone. They also have a noticeably shorter blade length and are more compact from 7 iron to GW, for precision where it’s most needed. The non-reflective, Chrome plated finish reduces bright light glare.
The set is fitted as standard with the KBS $ Taper Lite shaft and the Lamkin ST Hybrid grip.
