Alongside a focus on golf performance, educational sessions around our technology and golf are also conducted. Some examples below of our current educational sessions:
- Understanding what our launch monitors are telling us and how they are actually recording data.
- Different types of 3D systems in sport and how they measure our golf swing
- Why is pressure important in a golf swing?
- How does changing shaft and head design affect shot outcome?
The Education
Alongside your golf training and performance, students will be studying for an Extended Diploma in Sport with our partners, Easton College. Here you extend on your current knowledge of sport, as well as exploring more advanced areas such as sport psychology, anatomy and physiology and sport coaching.
There are multiple sporting academies based at the College, including Football, Rugby and Tennis. Classes are grouped with sport academy students ONLY, meaning lecturers and tutors can tailor sessions to these athletes.
The course is equivalent to 3 A Levels, giving students the necessary educational knowledge to pursue further education if interested.
